Twenty-two JJ’s made the short drive from Jesmond Pool down the coast road to meet at Cobalt Business Park. The weather was nice with a bit of a breeze in the air. Teams were mingling around the start waiting for the woman’s race to start. The course is a hard course to spectate fellow runners. The course is 2 miles long which certainly is a lung burner as you don’t have time to get settled into the race.
The women did excellent and there was pressure on the men to keep up the good performances.
The mens race started and the support from the women on the course was excellent.
Overall it was a great night and good to be racing with fellow JJ’s. Well done everyone.
